Coach Victor Joshua is a dedicated mentor and seasoned basketball coach with an impressive playing and coaching career. A proud alumnus of Hamden Hall Country Day School, Victor achieved remarkable milestones as a player, including scoring 1,000 points and setting records as the all-time leader in assists for a game, season, and career. His exceptional talent led him to a four-year collegiate career at Saint Anselm College, where he participated in the NCAA tournament each year, reaching the Sweet Sixteen twice and earning all-conference honors as a guard.
Post-college, Victor received opportunities to play professional basketball in Spain and Greece. After hanging up his jersey in 2016, his love for the game inspired him to transition into coaching and mentorship, where he continues to make a lasting impact.
Founder of RespeCT Hoops
In 2018, Victor founded RespeCT Hoops, a basketball training program designed for athletes of all ages and skill levels. With a focus on fundamentals, footwork, agility, and off-season skill maintenance, the program provides personalized training and free clinics every other Saturday. Inspired by the mentorship he received from his own coaches, Victor strives to build lifelong relationships with his athletes, helping them achieve not only their basketball goals but also personal milestones like college acceptance and career success.

Currently, he serves as an assistant coach at North Haven High School, where he is in his fifth year of helping develop young athletes and building a competitive basketball program.
