Coach Ally Sentance

Originally from Thorold, Ontario, Canada, Coach Ally Sentance brings a wealth of playing experience and a passion for teaching to The Lab. A junior at Southern Connecticut State University, Ally previously played Division I basketball at Central Connecticut State University before transferring to SCSU. Having played basketball since the age of five, she now dedicates her time to playing, coaching, and training young athletes at various levels.

Athletic Background

Ally’s basketball journey includes competing at some of the highest levels in Canada. She played AAU for Kia Nurse Elite, Canada’s only EYBL program, and attended Lincoln Prep in the OSBA, where she developed her skills alongside some of the country’s top talent. Her extensive experience on the court gives her unique insight into player development and mentorship.

Academic Pursuits

Currently studying Elementary Education, Ally’s goal is to teach grades K-6, combining her passion for education and working with young people. Her experience as a student-athlete has shaped her ability to connect with and inspire kids both on and off the court.
